Battle of the Camps: major CrossFit teams to compete at WZA SoCal 2026

Wodapalooza SoCal is getting a new look in 2026. Gymreapers takes over the title sponsorship role from TYR, giving the team tournament a fresh name in the process: the Battle of the Camps.

The well-known TYR Cup, which served as the centerpiece of the event for two years, makes way for this new format. The setup remains similar: a festival weekend in which major CrossFit camps compete against one another.

The participating camps have been announced. Brute, PRVN, TTT and the Outcasts will face off in what promises to be a spectacular team battle.

For Dutch CrossFit fans, this is an exciting competition to follow, as many of the world's top athletes are affiliated with these camps. The outcome of the Battle of the Camps will offer a clear picture of where things stand at the international level.
