CrossFit completes doping controls for 2026 Games: prize money on its way to individuals and teams

CrossFit has begun distributing prize money from the CrossFit Games 2026. The organization has requested bank details from all winning athletes and teams in the individual and team divisions, a clear signal that the doping procedures have been concluded.

All in-competition doping tests conducted in San Jose returned negative results. No one in the individual or team division tested positive, meaning prize money can now be transferred without issue.

That is notable, as this year two masters athletes did receive four-year bans following positive doping tests. The individual and team divisions are therefore free from any doping scandal surrounding this edition of the Games.

Exactly when the money will appear in athletes' accounts has not yet been announced.
