Dylan Scott crowned HYROX World Champion in Elite 15 Men

Dylan Scott has crowned himself world champion in the Elite 15 Singles men's category at the HYROX World Championships 2026. The American made the difference on the wall balls and finished with a time of 52:40.

It was world record holder Alexander Roncevic who posted the fastest overall time of 51:59, making him the quickest man on the floor, but the Elite 15 category victory went to Scott. Dutch athlete Hidde Weersma finished just behind Scott with a time of 52:42, a margin of just two seconds.

For the Dutch HYROX community, Weersma's performance is a source of pride. He competed among the very best in the world and proved that the Netherlands can hold its own at the highest level, narrowly missing out on a podium finish.

The Elite 15 category is considered one of the most prestigious divisions in HYROX, with only the best-qualified athletes in the world permitted to compete. The time gaps between competitors were razor-thin, making for a thrilling race all the way to the finish line.
