Fraser marks ten years since first Games title with special workout

26 June 2026, 08:58 (89 days ago) · BurpeeTalk News editorial

Next year marks a decade since Mat Fraser claimed his first CrossFit Games title. The five-time champion has no intention of letting the milestone pass quietly: together with the HWPO Training team, he has put together a special workout to celebrate the occasion.

Fraser announced he will take part in the workout himself in San Jose and has invited everyone to join him. Further details on the date and location are still to follow.

To generate some buzz around the announcement, Fraser asked his followers to guess which exercises feature in the workout via the original Instagram post. The first person to get it right will receive a signed gym flag.

Fraser dominated the CrossFit Games from 2016 through 2020 and remains one of the most influential figures in the sport to this day.
