Big names pull out of WFP Tour Stop 2

The World Fitness Project kicks off Tour Stop 2 in three days at the Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, Indiana. The organization has updated its entry lists following a series of withdrawals on both the men's and women's sides.

Saxon and Spencer Panchik are absent from the men's field, while on the women's side Annie Sigmundsdóttir and Haley Adams (Speegle) have withdrawn. These are significant losses for an event that is barely off the ground.

The WFP works with fields of 50 men and 50 women, so there is room to fill the vacated spots with other athletes. Whether that will fully compensate for the drop in field quality remains to be seen.

For Dutch fans following the competition, it will be interesting to see how the remaining field shapes up without some of the sport's most recognizable names.
