Hyrox bans Salt Lake City staff from speaking about Beijing incident

Hyrox has circulated an internal directive applying to everyone working at this weekend's event in Salt Lake City. According to that directive, obtained by Hybrid Fitness Media, staff and representatives are not permitted to speak publicly about the incident that took place last week during Hyrox Beijing.

The instruction applies to a broad group of people involved, including full-time and part-time employees, contractors, ambassadors and emcees. Their personal use of social media is also explicitly mentioned.

Hyrox has not disclosed what exactly happened in Beijing. The fact that the organization is actively trying to suppress discussion does raise questions about the seriousness and nature of the incident.
