Wayne O'Hara suspended after positive doping test at CrossFit Games

CrossFit has announced the first doping sanction arising from the 2026 CrossFit Games. American athlete Wayne O'Hara tested positive for exogenous testosterone and its metabolites during a doping control carried out by CrossFit itself.

O'Hara finished second in the men's 65-69 age category. It was his second consecutive year on the podium in that division, but the result is now overshadowed by the positive test.

The penalty is a four-year suspension, which effectively ends O'Hara's competitive career in CrossFit. With this announcement, CrossFit makes clear that its anti-doping policy is enforced seriously in the masters categories as well.
