McIntyre Launches Grueling 127-Mile Event: 24 Team Spots Available

Hunter McIntyre has announced the second edition of his own ultrarace: the Cresthooch 127. The event is scheduled for September 25, 2026, and covers 127 miles (just over 200 kilometers) with 7,000 feet of elevation gain.

Last year, ten teams started the race, but only two managed to reach the finish line. For the second edition, participation numbers are being kept deliberately limited: spots are available for 24 teams and five individual competitors.

Entry is not open to all; interested participants must submit an application. McIntyre announced the event on his Instagram account, where he directed followers to an application process for the available spots.
