Roncevic and Wenisch absent from Elite 15 rankings for Hamburg 2026

Alexander Roncevic and Tim Wenisch are a notable absence from the official Elite 15 ranking for the Men's Doubles at the upcoming Hyrox tournament in Hamburg. This is remarkable, as the Austrian-German duo topped the start list for the doubles World Championships both last year and this year.

The reason lies in a new rule change introduced by Hyrox. For the 2026/27 season, doubles partners are required to come from the same country. Roncevic and Wenisch therefore no longer meet the requirements for the Elite category.

The change has a direct impact on the composition of the field in Hamburg. It remains unclear whether the duo will find a solution or will compete separately.
