TYR launches new CXT Elite V2 trainer for CrossFit athletes

TYR has brought a new version of its training shoe to market: the CXT Elite V2. The shoe is an evolution of the CXT-2 Elite Carbon Trainer released in 2024 and builds on the same carbon fiber POWERPLATE technology.

The V2 has been reviewed by someone who has tested all previous TYR trainers, and he calls this version his favorite so far. That is a notable verdict, especially given that competition in the CrossFit shoe market has grown considerably in recent years.

For Dutch CrossFit and Hyrox athletes looking for a versatile training shoe, the CXT Elite V2 is one to watch. Whether the shoe will be widely available in the Netherlands has not yet been confirmed.
