Elisa Fuliano writes Italian CrossFit history with ninth place at the Games

11 August 2026, 06:53 (43 days ago) · BurpeeTalk News editorial

Elisa Fuliano has written her name into the CrossFit history books. The Italian athlete finished ninth in the women's division at the 2026 CrossFit Games in San Jose, California.

It is the best result an Italian woman has ever achieved on the world's biggest CrossFit stage. For Fuliano, it was her fourth appearance at the Games, and she made a significant leap compared to her previous results.

The performance shows that European athletes are increasingly able to compete with the world's best. For CrossFitters in the Netherlands and across Europe, Fuliano is an inspiring example.
