Hopper dominates French Throwdown, Von Rohr wins thrilling women's battle

This past weekend, Paris hosted the French Throwdown, the only CrossFit Semifinal on the schedule this weekend. Europe's top athletes competed for a ticket to the 2026 CrossFit Games. American Jayson Hopper left nothing to chance, winning the tournament with two event victories and two second-place finishes, totaling 554 points.
In the men's division, Moritz Fiebig finished second with 467 points, while Nika Maisuradze took third with 466 points, qualifying for the CrossFit Games for the first time in his career.
The women's competition was considerably more dramatic. Mirjam von Rohr and Aimee Cringle battled for the win on the final day, with Von Rohr ultimately prevailing on 526 points to Cringle's 513. The fight for the third qualifying spot was equally gripping: Leah Storen entered the final event in third place, but Elisa Fuliano overtook her by finishing third in that event, securing her fourth CrossFit Games appearance.
In the team competition, CrossFit Oslo Kriger claimed victory and a Games ticket. CrossFit Södra Wättern and Team Butcher's Lab Pursuit took second and third place respectively, also earning their spots at the CrossFit Games. For BKG, part of CrossFit Oslo Kriger, it marks the first time they will compete at the Games as a team.
