Roman Khrennikov has withdrawn from the Rogue Invitational. The Russian CrossFit athlete says he does not want to compete unless he is fully fit.

The problems began in late August during the World Fitness Project. Khrennikov injured his left leg during a sprint event and then suffered a cramp in his right leg during a 10-kilometre run.

That double injury caused him to miss the remainder of that event. Now it turns out he also considers the risk too great to compete at the Rogue Invitational.

For Dutch CrossFit fans, this is a disappointment, as Khrennikov is among the world's best and always delivers spectacular performances at major competitions.
