Medeiros after motorcycle accident: jaw wired shut but still on his feet

Justin Medeiros, two-time CrossFit Games champion, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. Just four days later, he showed up at a live recording of the podcast Boys Interrupted, at the WZA SoCal event.

Medeiros had his jaw wired shut as a result of the accident and had visible swelling across his face. He joked that he looked like he weighed 300 pounds, but appeared to be in good spirits despite everything.
