Justin Medeiros shares details about serious motorcycle accident

Justin Medeiros, two-time CrossFit Games champion, has shared more details about the serious motorcycle accident that recently put him in the hospital. As a result, the American had to withdraw from the Battle of the Bar, a tournament taking place this weekend.

Medeiros had purchased the motorcycle, a Honda Monkey, with part of his prize money following his 2021 CrossFit Games victory. That very vehicle would end up causing him serious trouble.

The athlete reported that, despite the severity of the accident, he got off relatively well. He said he was lucky, but his injuries are serious enough to keep him from competing for the time being.

For Dutch CrossFit fans, this is a disappointment. Medeiros is among the absolute world elite, and his absence from tournaments is always felt across the competitive landscape.
