Ty Jenkins wins swimming event at CrossFit Games

23 July 2026, 18:11 (2 days ago) · BurpeeTalk News editorial

Ty Jenkins has won the seventh event at the CrossFit Games. In the swimming event, known as the Swim Standard, he was the fastest across the entire field of athletes.

It marks the first career victory for Jenkins at the CrossFit Games, a milestone for the athlete, who has shown with this win that he can compete at the very highest level.

The victory does not yet fully offset some weaker performances earlier in the day: after day one, Jenkins sits fifteenth in the overall standings. Whether he can improve that position in the coming days remains to be seen.

The CrossFit Games shared the results via their official Instagram account. The event was sponsored by swimwear brand TYR Sport.
