WFP Grand Park Pro 2026: Keesman and Bleeker Take on the World's Best

8 August 2026, 13:20 (45 days ago) · BurpeeTalk News editorial

From August 28 to 30, the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana, serves as the backdrop for the second stop of the 2026 World Fitness Tour. The event, the Grand Park Pro, brings together an impressive field featuring some of the biggest names in the sport, complemented by a strong contingent of challengers hunting for a breakthrough.

For Dutch fans, all eyes will be on Linda Keesman and Noortje Bleeker. Both athletes take to the start in a competition that tests virtually every aspect of fitness across three days: speed, strength, endurance, swimming ability, gymnastic skills and Olympic weightlifting.

Dutch interest in Keesman and Bleeker

In the women's field, Linda Keesman is among the selected pros, placing her alongside established international names. Noortje Bleeker enters as a challenger and gets the chance to measure herself against the world's best.

Their presence makes the Grand Park Pro especially interesting for the Dutch audience, particularly because the programming forms an exceptionally complete test in which athletes can afford very few weak points.

World-class field at the start

In the men's competition, the field includes a range of well-known names. James Sprague, Roman Khrennikov, Gui Malheiros, Patrick Vellner, Jonne Koski, Chandler Smith and Colten Mertens are among the highlights of the weekend.

The women's field is equally impressive. Former Games champion Laura Horvath leads a strong lineup that includes Arielle Loewen, Emily Rolfe, Dani Speegle, Aimee Cringle and, of course, Linda Keesman.

All workouts of the Grand Park Pro

Workout 3: 10,000 Meter Run

A pure endurance test:

Time cap: 60 minutes.

The standalone 10-kilometer run is a notable choice and will likely create significant gaps between competitors.

Athletes have eight minutes to find their maximum weight for one valid repetition.

Time cap: 8 minutes.

This workout combines power, breathing and swimming capacity in a way that is rarely seen at the elite level.

Workout 7: Finale

For time:

  • 35/25 calorie row
  • 25 Bar Muscle-Ups
  • 45-meter Handstand Walk
  • 5 Squat Snatches

RX weights for Squat Snatch:

  • 111 kg men
  • 77 kg women

Time cap: 9 minutes.

The final event appears designed to separate champions from the rest. The combination of an elevated heart rate, advanced gymnastics and heavy Olympic lifts will make for spectacular viewing under fatigue.

A complete test of fitness

The Grand Park Pro is more than a regular fitness competition. The weekend combines sprint tests, a 10-kilometer run, swimming, maximal strength, heavy object movements and technical gymnastics. Athletes must excel across virtually every discipline modern functional fitness has to offer, over the course of three days.

For Dutch fans, it will be especially compelling to watch how Linda Keesman holds her own among the global elite and whether challenger Noortje Bleeker can spring a surprise against one of the strongest fields of the season. When the final squat snatch drops on August 30, only a handful of athletes will be able to say they conquered the most complete test the World Fitness Tour has to offer.
